
Nina is an experienced counselor with extensive expertise in advising high school students, focusing on how applicants can differentiate themselves in the admissions process. She particularly enjoys working with students to help them improve their persuasive writing and interviewing skills. She has helped countless families navigate college preparation, evaluated students’ academic course abilities, and offered professional academic planning for students.
Nina has an AB with Honors from Brown University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business, New York University. She holds a Certificate with Distinction in College Counseling from UCLA Extension. Nina is a Professional Member, Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC).
Nina is the author of two ebooks, Supplementing the College Supplement and Mastering the College Interview, and has written articles on college admissions for forbes.com, Noodle, College Confidential, LINK for Counselors and Parentology. A StartEd mentor, Nina has also held content development positions with elearning companies. Nina also conducted numerous alumni interviews for Brown University prior to her college counseling career.
